Welcome to nube.
nube is a space exploration and astronomy app that lets you check information about the International Space Station, space launches, astronomical events, educational content and your progress in Nube Academy.
01 · Controller and data
The controller of this website and the app is nube. For any privacy-related questions, you can write to cdm@nube.ovh.
The app may use technical data needed to provide its features, such as device information, usage preferences, educational game progress and, when the user allows it, approximate location to show visible ISS passes or location-based astronomy information.
- Approximate location, only when needed for features such as visible ISS passes or sky events.
- Progress data in Nube Academy, such as correct answers, misses, completed chapters and score.
- Local usage preferences, settings and notifications.
- Basic technical data to improve stability, performance and experience.
We do not collect:
- Name, address or phone number.
- Banking information or passwords.
- Sensitive data.
02 · Purpose of processing
We use the data to provide nube's main features: space tracking, launch alerts, astronomy information, the educational experience, user progress and improving the app's quality.
The information is used solely to provide and improve these features, not to sell personal profiles or show advertising based on sensitive data.
Processing is limited to what is necessary for the experience to work properly.
03 · Third-party services
nube may query third-party services to show space and astronomy data, such as launch information, ISS position, astronomy images or sky events. These services may have their own privacy policies.
- Sources for the ISS position and visible passes.
- Launch and space mission services.
- Astronomy, image and sky event sources.
Only the data needed for each feature is requested. Each third-party service may apply its own privacy policy.
04 · Notifications
If you turn on notifications, nube may send you alerts about upcoming visible ISS passes, space launches or notable events.
You can turn them off at any time in your system or device settings.
05 · Data retention
Data is kept only for as long as needed to provide the app's features, keep your progress or meet applicable legal obligations. Most usage information is processed directly on the device.
06 · User rights
You can request information about, access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to cdm@nube.ovh.
07 · Minors
nube is designed as an educational, outreach experience. If a minor uses the app, they should do so under the supervision of an adult or legal guardian when necessary.
08 · Changes and contact

1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of nube, an app for science outreach, space exploration, astronomy and interactive learning through Nube Academy.
2. Informational and educational use
The information shown by nube is for outreach, educational and informational purposes. Although we try to provide accurate, up-to-date data, there may be delays, last-minute changes or errors in information from third-party services.
3. Launches, ISS and astronomical events
Launch times, ISS passes and astronomical events may change for technical, weather or operational reasons, or because the sources are updated. nube does not guarantee the exact availability of any event.
4. Nube Academy
Nube Academy is a learning and game experience within the app. Its chapters, questions, correct answers, misses, scores and space license are for fun and educational purposes.
5. Acceptable use
Users agree to use the app properly, respectfully and in accordance with the law. Tampering with, damaging, interfering with or attempting unauthorized access to nube's systems, services or content is not allowed.
6. Intellectual property
The design, brand, text, visual structure and original content of nube belong to their owners. Copying, distributing or reusing them without permission is not allowed, except where permitted by law.
7. Liability
nube is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of the information shown in the app, or for interruptions, errors, changes or unavailability of third-party services.
8. Changes to these terms
